Projects Tab
The projects tab contains all project related information. Projects are are broken down into 5 stages to make it simple for you to find and know which ones are ready to tender.
ALL PROJECTS
‘All Projects’ contains all projects recorded across the entire system, regardless of their tender stage. To the right of the interface you will see a ‘Stage’ column detailing the current stage of the project. Projects will be listed in descending order, with the most recently added project appearing at the top.
TENDERS OUT
‘Tenders Out’ lists all projects that have gone out to tender, listed in descending order, beginning with the most recent project at the top. ‘Tenders Out’ refers to the main contractor having officially released tenders to subcontractors for the builders cleaning package or for other trades.
FUTURE TENDERS
‘Future Tenders’ lists all projects that are yet to be released for tender, but are due to be released in the near future. The anticipated future tender date will also be included. Tip: Build relations in advance to improve your chances of being included on the tender list – do not wait for the tender to be released!
CHASE QS
‘Chase QS’ lists all projects that include an assigned ‘decision maker’; however, we have yet to verify when they will be going out to tender. Types of decision makers include quantity surveyors, project managers and other commercial leads connected with the project.
CONFIRM
The ‘Confirm’ stage lists all projects that are yet to have a decision maker or commercial lead assigned (hence we are unable to verify this information). Despite the main contractor having been awarded the project, they may not have begun works on-site or assigned a commercial lead.
LET/COMPLETE
The ‘Let/Complete’ stage lists all projects that have gone out to tender, with either the cleaning element having been awarded or the project is due for completion/has finished. We keep ‘Let Projects’ on the system for up to 12 months.
Filter Search
The filter option allows you to filter by county, region, start date, end date, residential, non-residential and project year-end.Â
Project View
Once you select a project you will see all information related to that project along with the people involved. We also provide updates on the left hand side related to the tender date.Â
Add to Favourites
Select projects as your favourite by simply passing the star button. This can be done in any stage tabs or in project view. Once this is done, the project will go into your ‘My Favourites’ tab. Remove from favourites by deselecting the star.
Your Dashboard
The dashboard is your quick summary and shortcut to the most important sections of the system. This will have your favourite projects and the most recent tenders out.
Find Companies
The ‘Companies’ tab list all companies on bc portal, including main contractors and clients. Once you select a company you will see projects along with the people associated with company. You can also search for a specific company via the search option.
